Original Instrument Inspired Watches

Trintec was the first company to integrate the design concepts of an Aircraft Instrument with a Wrist Watch. The Original Instrument Inspired Watch was first produced and sold by Trintec in 1990. The watch was inspired by an Aircraft Altimeter and was designed to capture the essence of an aircraft instrument. It was the first of a series of Aircraft Instrument Inspired watches which were developed and marketed by Trintec Industries Inc.

The original 9060W Altimeter watch was first sold by a large aircraft parts distributor in the United States from 1990-1992 and was also used as a promotional product by that same company (see photo above). In 1993 we expanded to 3 designs, adding the 9062W & 9063W. The 2 new watches were also inspired by primary flight instruments: The Directional Gyro & The Artificial Horizon.

Our line of watches expanded to 3 models by 1993.


Trintec Instrument Watches were fiirst distributed in the United States by Airline Supply Corporation. The company was based in Florida and catered to Airline Pilots and Crew for major North American Airlines. Trintec watches were distributed in Europe by Pilot Station based in France and Transair Pilot Shop in the UK.

The new Zulu Series of Aviation Watches are a New generation of Watches inspired by our original instrument designs from 1990, with the added features pilots are looking for in a professional time piece.
